Qualitrol at SNPTEE CIGRE 2025 October 19th-22nd in Recife, Brazil

Join us at SNPTEE 2025 (XXVIII Seminário Nacional de Produção e Transmissão de Energia Elétrica) in Recife from October 19th - 22nd, 2025. Qualitrol Brasil is proud to participate in one of Latin America's most important technical events for the electrical sector. This biennial seminar brings together over 3,000 participants from 14 countries and 238 cities, including utilities, regulators, technology providers, and academic institutions at the Recife Expo Center.

Promoted by CIGRE-Brasil and coordinated by Eletrobras, SNPTEE is recognized as the premier Latin American forum for discussing technological, regulatory, and market innovations shaping the future of electrical energy. The event will feature approximately 600 technical papers across 16 study groups, alongside panels, forums, and ExpoSNPTEE a business fair bringing together the industry's leading equipment suppliers and utilities.

At SNPTEE 2025, Qualitrol will showcase cutting-edge technologies for monitoring critical power system assets. Our focus will be on demonstrating how advanced monitoring solutions enhance grid reliability and enable predictive maintenance strategies throughout the region. With 80 years of heritage in electrical power equipment monitoring, Qualitrol continues to define reliability standards for utilities and industrial operators worldwide.

"Understanding the Complementary Role of Partial Discharge Monitoring" - Featured Technical Paper

A major highlight of our participation will be the technical paper presented by Emilio Morales, Qualitrol's technical application specialist for transformers: "Understanding the Complementary Role of Partial Discharge Monitoring in Transformer Health Assessment" (Compreendendo o papel complementar do monitoramento de descarga parcial na avaliação da saúde do transformador).

This presentation will explore how partial discharge monitoring serves as a critical complement to comprehensive transformer condition assessment strategies. Attendees will learn how integrating partial discharge detection with other monitoring parameters—such as dissolved gas analysis, temperature monitoring, and bushing monitoring—enables operators to identify emerging insulation issues before they lead to catastrophic failures. The session will demonstrate practical examples of how this complementary approach improves reliability, reduces unplanned outages, and extends transformer asset life.

At our exhibition stand, visitors will have the opportunity to explore Qualitrol's comprehensive portfolio of transformer monitoring solutions, including partial discharge monitoring technologies, dissolved gas analysis equipment, fiber optic temperature monitoring systems, bushing monitors, and integrated asset management platforms. Our team of experts will be available to discuss how these solutions can be tailored to meet the specific challenges facing electrical utilities and industrial operators across Brazil and Latin America.

SNPTEE 2025 serves as a strategic platform for knowledge exchange and networking, bringing together the entire electrical sector supply chain, from utilities and operators to manufacturers, engineering firms, consultancies, and research institutions. This event provides an ideal environment for exploring innovations that will shape the future of grid reliability, energy transition, and predictive maintenance practices.

We look forward to your visit at our booth, Stand 89. Our team is ready for personalized conversations dedicated to your specific needs. See you in Recife!
