TRN-013 Pressure Transducer Series: End-of-Sale Notice and Transition Guidance

We are formally notifying customers that the TRN-013 series pressure transducers have been discontinued and are no longer available for sale, effective immediately.

The TRN-013 is an immersible pressure transducer with a 4-20 mA output, designed for industrial applications requiring gauge, absolute, vacuum, and compound pressure measurement across a wide range of pressure ranges.

What Happened

This discontinuation was driven by a component-level supply chain event: a key supplier of components used in the TRN-013 series has notified us of their own product obsolescence, making continued production of the TRN-013 no longer possible.

Component-driven obsolescence is an increasingly common challenge across the industrial instrumentation sector. When a critical upstream component reaches end-of-life, it can force product discontinuations regardless of the end product's performance or market demand.

Recommended Alternative: TRN-605-2

We are offering the TRN-605-2 as a close alternative for customers transitioning away from the TRN-013. The TRN-605-2 is an immersible pressure sensor with a 4-20 mA output and a 304 stainless steel housing, rated for a pressure range of -15 to +30 PSIG. To support the transition, we will price match the TRN-605-2 to TRN-013 pricing for the duration of 2026.

Please note that the TRN-605-2 is not a fit, form, and function replacement for the TRN-013. There may be differences in tolerance, construction, and pressure range that need to be evaluated against your specific application requirements before making any procurement or installation decisions.
