Partial Discharge Monitoring
The TGA-B is a portable instrument to monitor PD in 50/60 Hz motors equipped with Iris Power Epoxy Mica Capacitor Couplers. This configuration is for hydro generators.
- Reliably identify loose, contaminated, overheated or poorly impregnated stator windings to aid in assessing the risk of stator winding failure.
- Easily connected to test with permanently installed Iris Power 80 pF Epoxy Mica CapacitorsTM (EMCs).
- Shortest pulse width (FWHM): less than 2.5 ns, at the 3 dB cut-off magnitude
