DMS PDMG-RH GIS Partial Discharge Monitor (IEC 61850)

Online PD monitoring and Arc Monitor for GIS using UHF sensors.

The DMS PDMG‑RH is an IEC 61850‑certified, permanently installed monitor for gas‑insulated switchgear (GIS) that uses UHF sensors to capture partial discharge online. It streams data to Expert Software for automatic classification, trending, SCADA alarms, and—with the Arc Monitor add‑on—detection and localization of arc events across major GIS brands.

Features

  • Arc Monitor (Arc Detection & Localization): software add‑on that uses existing UHF sensors to detect and locate arc events in GIS bays, helping re‑energize healthy sections faster.

  • Continuous, online PD monitoring with automatic fault classification.

  • High‑resolution UHF acquisition with per‑coupler filter and gain control.

  • Advanced noise gating to reduce interference and improve signal quality.

  • Real‑time alarms and data via digital and analog SCADA; remote access in Expert Software.

  • Trend analysis and reporting to support condition‑based maintenance.

  • Enhances reliability and safety; reduces unplanned outages and risk.

  • Retrofit‑friendly and compatible with most major GIS brands.

  • Supports integrated GIS health views (PD, arc events, gas density) on the same platform.

  • Helps extend asset life and delay costly replacements.

Group Created with Sketch. Applications
